Centrum Academicus Cedrus was created in 1991 to help individuals to improve their knowledge of English or French for personal or professional use and, for students to be assisted during their scholastic years as well as preparing for various examinations.

 The teaching is carried out by fully qualified professional teachers, and the aim is to provide the students with a complete expertise in languages. The Centrum can be proud of the high rate of success in upper grade examinations as well as satisfaction from non-exam pupils.

Beside the teaching aspect of the Centrum, a full translation service can be offered from English to French and vice versa.

 In 1993 the school became computerised and full computer training facilities can be offered to those who wish to familiarise themselves with the workings of a computer as well as those who want to learn the utilisation of specific programs from basic Internet, E-mail, office suite components to DTP facility.
